Docket

For teams, offices and households

One list per person. One place for the whole team.

Docket keeps projects, actions and follow-ups in one place. Every action has one owner and a start date, so each person opens the day to a list that is theirs.

Bring your Todoist projects with you. Nothing is retyped.

How a day works

Write it down now. File it when you have a minute.

  1. 01

    Capture

Press c anywhere and type. The action lands in Unfiled, faster than a sticky note.

  2. 02

    File it

Pick the project, the owner and a start date when you have a minute.

  3. 03

    Today

Your work from every team in one list. Drag to reorder, or push an action to tomorrow or next week.

  4. 04

    Focus

Hide everything except your next few actions, and work through them.

The rules

A few rules keep work from slipping

  • One owner per action

Nothing falls between two people who each thought the other had it.

  • A start date on everything

Each morning shows what to start today, not a pile of everything due.

  • Follow-ups name who you wait on

Every “waiting on” says who and for how long, so you know whom to chase.

  • No priority field

When almost every task carries the same priority, the field tells you nothing. Start dates do that work.

  • Stages for each kind of project

Each kind of work gets its own board of stages, set up once for the team.

  • Everyone sees the whole picture

There are no per-project permissions, so covering for someone is never a guess.

Where it fits

One app for the office and the house

  • At work

Give each project its people and its stages. Analytics shows which projects have no next action, who carries the most, and what changed in any week.

  • At home

Make a team for the house. Chores, bills, repairs and school forms each get one owner and a start date, so nothing waits for “someone.”

  • Just you

Personal is a team of one, for the things that are only yours. Today shows it beside every team you are in.

Claude

Docket works inside Claude

Connect Docket to Claude, then ask about your lists in plain words or ask Claude to change them.

  • Add the connector in Claude and approve it in Docket. There is no token to copy.
  • Claude can read your lists, and capture, file, update, close and import actions.
  • It signs in as you, so every rule and role still applies.
  • A Todoist import can run again without making duplicates.
  • You

What am I waiting on from other people this week?

  • Claude

Three follow-ups: Lee on the signed lease (3 days), the roofer on the quote (5 days), and the bank on the loan papers (8 days).

  • You

Bring over my Todoist projects too.

  • Claude

Imported 41 projects and 212 actions. Running it again will not duplicate anything.

An example conversation. The names and counts are made up.

Your work is safe

Backed up every night, and built to grow

  • Nightly backups

Each team's work is saved every night and kept 30 days, plus month-ends for a year. Restore it from inside the app.

  • Roles and invites

Owners, admins and members. Invite by link or email. When someone leaves, their work passes to a teammate.

  • Tested at scale

Tested with a made-up 200-person team holding about 950,000 actions. Most screens opened in under a second.
